Let's see...

Today I visited the World's Largest Truckstop...

It's in Walcott, Iowa. Nothing to write home about really, but how could we not stop?

I also saw "The Party Bus"...

Not much of a picture here, but here's the site for a better look-see: www.ridethispartybus.com. Whadda think? M&M party material?(lol)

I also got a kick out of some Amish teenage boys today. While at a rest stop, a bus load of Amish people rolled in. The boys were quite amused by the automatic door button at the entrance to the building. Was very cute to watch. A simple and sheltered life they lead. To some degree, I envy them.

After we deliver this load of car batteries tomorrow, we have a load assignment taking us up to Taylor, Michigan. We'll probably end up bringing a load to Oh Canada. Too bad it isn't 12 days from now. I'm supposed to be heading home for mid-November for a doctor's appointment. Taylor is where we park the truck for that. Hopefully we get back there again in time. Time off doesn't always work out the way you want it.

Well, hubby and I are about to watch a Western, so I'll sign off for the night. Giddy-up & G'nite.
