What Cheer.  That's the name of a small town we drove through today. I kid you not. Question is... Is it 'What Cheer?' (grumpy) or 'What Cheer!' (exciting).  Guess we'd need to spend some time there to find out. I did think it cute that nearly all of the businesses we saw had What Cheer in their name, ie: What Cheer Flowers, What Cheer Telephone Company, What Cheer Hardware. (lol)    

Today we saw a lot of farms and corn fields while leisurely rolling through Iowa... 


And killed a lot of bugs (lol).

From one extreme to another...As I type this, we're driving through a part of Indiana where there's, to use my husband's words, too much traffic and not enough road! I decided to blog to divert my attention away from the road. Some of the 4 wheelers out here make me extremely nervous!  I've come to the conclusion that they don't actually have a death wish...they're just plain IDIOTS!!

I believe this to be an opportune time to introduce my leopard bum...


I like my leopard bum. :) For those of you who don't know what the heck it is, it's a neck pillow. When it's not around my neck, it's usually on my lap where I dig my nails into it in high traffic and bad weather situations!

I did have a chuckle over one poor guy this afternoon. Picture this...you're driving along in a Toyota Camry and you suddenly discover that you have a transport in front of you, one behind you, and one on each side of you! (We were the one in the back.) Sucks to be you!!
 
A closing thought...why didn't God create deer to have a fear of traffic? I can't tell you how many of Bambi's cousins I've seen lying on the side of the road in the past month. :(
