Happy Birthday to my Hubby!!! 45 today. We're gettin' up there! I'll always be younger than him though.;) Sometimes it feels like by the time we get our cabin built, we'll both be walking around with canes and spending a lot of time in our rockers.

Dwayne has a fondness for trains, especially the model type ones. Whenever we see a train out on the road, he usually grabs for the camera. During our few days off, we drove through a town called McAlester and saw this old trolley car on display at an abandoned restaurant...

As mentioned in a previous post, my husband is also quite passionate about Liberty and the right to bear arms. Hung above the check out counter of the gun store we recently attended, there is a poster exhibiting the Second Amendment to the US Constitution...the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed...

Lastly, in honour of his birthday, I post a pic of the flag of his beloved country (they're everywhere down here)...this particular one in his beloved Oklahoma...

Today was wet and dreary. It's been that way for several days now and it's having a negative affect on my mood. Dwayne's too. (or is it 'effect'? I always get those two mixed up). When you're constantly exposed to such dreariness through the windows of a truck, it gets to you after awhile. Rain, rain, go away...Brenda wants a sunshine day. :)

We're in Syracuse, New York, hoping to find a spot for the night at the truckstop 30 miles up the road.
