Yesterday we crossed the Mackinac Bridge.

Later on, when we were hungry, we took a random Exit and entered a town called Vanderbilt. The town looked dead and we didn't think we were going to have any luck. We saw a little pizza sign and decided we'd just grab a slice. The place didn't look very appealing and I asked Dwayne if he thought we would get food poisoning. Boy...were we in for a surprise! Buffet with salad bar, soup, chili, spaghetti and pizza. All amazing! Oh, and homemade cookies too. Actually, all was homemade. Spaghetti sauce was so good, I had to have a bowl of it without the noodles. All for $7.99 per person. And super friendly service. Listening to the locals was also interesting. I love finding little places like that. Here's a pic of Morey's Pizza. Looks can be deceiving.

Will be heading out shortly to South Carolina. Have to drive at night. Never fun for Dwayne. Today we checked out a mall. Amber would love it!! Very geared towards the youth. Lots of cool stores. And did you know that McDonald's in the States has latte's...just about as good as Starbucks?! I'm in heaven! Dwayne can get to McD's easily with the truck but not Starbucks.

Gotta roll...
